This position is responsible for analyzes information and data necessary to define and discern cost and policy implications of negotiations and disputes. This may include management and union proposals, pay scales and wages, benefits, working conditions, and other mitigating circumstances. Collaborates with legal counsel and departments in the preparation for and participation in negotiation with employee and labor groups. Excellent oral and written communication skills and thorough understanding of state and federal laws concerning labor relations.
The position is located in Canoas/RS and responsible for serving the Canoas, Santa Rosa, Ibiruba and G&P plants in RS State and Mogi das Cruzes & Jundiaí in SP State. Strategic support in Genreal Rodriguez/Arg plants.
The role will report to the Sr. Human Resources & Employee Relations Manager.
**Your Impact**- Collaborate with legal counsel and departments in the preparation for and participation in negotiation with employee and labor groups.- Assist and support the development of positive employee relations Participate in the development and execution of Labor and Employee Relations strategies.- Work collaboratively with peers and business leaders to create and maintain an environment that delivers positive employee relations and increase employee engagement.- Prepare, coordinate, and assist with Company pre-negotiations collective bargaining strategy and the internal economic approval request process Serves on management collective bargaining team Researches and explains laws and legal affairs concerning employment to managers, supervisors, and employees.- Advises and trains managers and supervisors in best employee relations practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee grievances.
**Your Experience and Qualifications**- Previous legal/labor relations background preferred.- Hands on background in the area of labor relations with specific background in grievance management, arbitration, active participant as company representative at bargaining table.- Background in interpreting and communicating Collective Bargaining Agreement
