If you're ready to contribute to the success of a global sales organization, we want you on our team!The Sales Manager South America (SAM) plays a critical role in achieving Sibelco's sales objectives by driving growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and commercializing innovative products. This role focuses on maximizing profitability while aligning with Sibelco's vision, values, and strategic objectives.In this role, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and potential clients, identifying new opportunities to maximize value.Developing a deep understanding of Sibelco's products to deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs.Collaborating with the Technical Sales team to commercialize new products and applications.Monitoring and analyzing market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.Achieving annual sales targets (volume, Net Sales, and Gross Margin) while managing pricing, payment terms, and receivables in line with company guidelines.Supporting operations and supply chain planning through accurate and timely market insights.Maintaining updated customer information in CRM systems and producing detailed visit reports.To be successful in this role, you have:A bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, or a related field.At least 6 years experience in sales in mining, chemistry or a related industry.Proficiency in English, Spanish, and/or Portuguese (both verbal and written); additional local languages are an asset.Strong analytical skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven approaches to sales management.At Sibelco, we celebrate diversity and foster a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
