Job Title:Manager, Workplace Health & SafetyJob Description:The EHS Manager is accountable for the Health and Safety and Occupational Medicine teams and processes, establishing and enforcing all the processes for the EHS teams to guarantee that all local legislations and internal policies of the company are compliant.Develop, plan and lead the implementation of a solid environment, health and safety program, aligned with legal, regulatory, corporate requirements and industry best practices.Support business growth by managing license revisions and new regulatory requirements; evaluate new projects/processes regarding their impact on the same and on the health and safety of employees.Manage and oversee the on-site occupational health program, with appropriate interfaces with corporate, HR and legal departments.Define, maintain and manage emergency response procedures in place to ensure preparedness and organized management of crisis situations.Ensure continuous improvement through the implementation of the company's EHS management system, including risk identification and assessment, target setting and performance monitoring.Lead and direct the EHS team in the unit.Lead socioenvironmental green initiatives programs.Develop a strong safety culture across the site, ensuring all incidents are reported, investigated and corrective actions implemented as appropriate.Manage the budget and long-term plan (OPEX and CAPEX), providing the necessary resources to ensure legal compliance and the license to operate.Represent the unit in corporate initiatives.Ensure safety programs and initiatives at the unit, in accordance with internal/global policies and procedures; specialized company management.Responsible for attending internal and external EHS audits.Coordinate the Occupational Medicine Services.Act as POC and responsible for developing the country - Environmental Global strategies.Location:BRA SAO PAULO Rua Tagipuru, 906 Barra FundaLanguage Requirements:English (Required), SpanishTime Type:Full time#J-18808-Ljbffr
