Posting Date: 7 Nov 2023- City: Rio De Janeiro- Location: Rio De Janeiro, BR, 20.011-000- Contract Type: Permanent- Division: Marine Americas Region- Level of experience: SeniorRINA is currently recruiting for a **Marine Brazil Operations Senior Surveyor** to join its office in **Rio de Janeiro or Santos, Brazil** within the Marine Americas Region Division.**Mission**:To conduct the assessment and inspection of ships and other marine structures during construction and in operation, ensuring compliance with Class requirements, statutory regulations, and any other applicable standards.**Responsibilities**:- Prepare and maintain technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and assessments.- Perform routine inspections on classed ships, platforms, or other marine structures at manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with classification and statutory requirements.- Collaborate with colleagues on various projects and tasks.- Work closely with senior professionals to gain practical experience in the field.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or similar.- Significant experience in marine vessel or structure inspection.- Strong knowledge of classification rules, statutory regulations, and related technical requirements.- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Advanced computer skills.- Fluency in spoken and written English.With over 5,000 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player which provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
