For more information, please visit teleflex.com .Position SummaryThe Interventional Urology business unit of Teleflex is dedicated to developing innovative, minimally invasive and clinically effective devices that address unmet needs in the field of urology.
The Market Development Manager, Interventional Urology Brazil is responsible for managing all commercial activities including market development, product sales, and market strategy.
This position will focus on the development, coordination and execution of sales and marketing plans to drive sustained product adoption and achieve sales growth with the UroLift system sold across Brazil.Principal ResponsibilitiesMeet or exceed quarterly sales quotas for the defined area for UroLiftCreate and manage programs to increase penetration and drive sales of existing productsProvide day to day management of assigned product lines and provide sales support to distributorsResearch market trends, market size and competitive landscape for assigned product franchisesDeliver comprehensive clinical training support to distributors sales teams and physiciansDevelop content for core products and new product introductionsDevelop, maintain and leverage key opinion leader (KOL) relationshipsCreate designated product line positioning and pricing strategySupport the Sales team with sales materials and customer communicationsAssist with creation and maintenance of operating plan and budget for assigned product line(s)Collaborate with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, and DistributionProvide support to the Regulatory Affairs team on local product registrationsAttend tradeshow meetings and education workshopsContribute to our culture of being collaborative, respectful, transparent, ethical, efficient, high-achieving, and fun!Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Teleflex Code of Ethics and all Company policiesEducation / Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree required with areas of preference including marketing, biomedical engineering, business administration or other similar degree area5+ years sales and marketing experience in the medical device industryPrior marketing and/or market development experience is requiredMust be fluent in Portuguese and EnglishSpecialized Skills / Other RequirementsComfort level in clinical environment (ICU, critical care, operating room, emergency room, etc)Demonstrated aptitude or prior experience with clinical terminology and general clinical practices in Interventional Urology is preferredStrong formal and informal communication skillsProven ability to demonstrate practical application of successful marketing conceptsBasic understanding of factors that impact product center's profitable performanceAbility to drive focus, prioritization, and effective time/project managementProven ability to work with colleagues to drive consensus on product portfolio decisionsAbility to work in a lean environment without large infrastructureUnquestionable ethics and integrityAt Teleflex, we follow a comprehensive hiring process.
