Main responsibilities:
Align with regional and country strategy to bring in new biologicals opportunities to foster growth of biological through demand generation activities and strength the key business initiatives in LATAM.
Work closely with S&M team to understand customer needs, gaps in portfolio and the key demand generation and field activities.
Scout, identify, and select third parties' targets for in-licensing or partnership opportunities in the biologicals space in LATAM.
Understand Governmental and other relevant NGO landscape and their respective business models to support/incentivize Biologicals in LATAM.
Prepare road map of potential targets (products or technologies or companies) for external opportunities in LATAM.
Identify potential targets for acquisition if it aligns to the strategy.
Facilitate / Coordinate diligence process as needed working with global and local teams.
Primarily Responsible for negotiations of commercial / in-licensing agreements for external opportunities in Brazil.
Track competitors' activities and update business on a regular basis.
Define the demand generation strategy and implement it
Manage, train, motivate and charge a team of Market Developers and leverage demand generation focusing on priority actions regarding portfolio, crops and customers;
Define, align and monitor team activities aimed at generating demand and market development to convert into sales;
Basic Qualifications
Master's degree in the fields of Agriculture, Biotechnology or Microbiology, Marketing, Management, or related fields is required.
Leadership skills.
In-depth understanding of the Biologicals and the Biological markets in LATAM.
Strong network in the biological space in Brazil – companies, institutes, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good negotiation skills
10 years of Prior experience in the field of Business Development is required.
Proficiency in English and Spanish.
