Position Summary: This Market Intelligence Manager is working directly with director and center leader, will be responsible for the daily work flow and performance of the team manager. Market Intelligence (MI) describes data Samsung collects about the tech industry to create an effective R&D procurement strategy. Market Intelligence Manager can collect market MI by viewing statistical information, researching online or networking with other professionals. The Market Intelligence Manager is accountable to carry out evaluation of team leader's performance and achievement. The candidate is responsible to work with management to set department goals and plan out the future outlook of the department, distributing relevant goals and vision to the team members.

Common Essentials / Duties and Responsibilities: Overview of secondary research. Provides insights to inform procurement decisions. Researches and analyses market, future products/services. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Marketing/Sales to develop and manage strategic supplier relationships. Support for managers to forecast tech market size and opportunity, marketing practices and trends, and prepares forecasts and recommendations. Support to improve tech business performance by providing insight and solutions for providing market analysis reports. Overview presentations to management on matters concerning tech market planning and changing business environment. Construct team leaders' goals and KPI and evaluate the performance of direct reports. Forge relationships with industry analysts to ascertain relevant research, scope custom projects, and build RFPs. Drive targeted market, country, and account opportunities prioritization with a geographic procurement strategy. Background/Experience: Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years or experience in market research, industry or business analysis fields new business develop field. Excellent writing, presentation and verbal communications skills in English (Korean preferred). Market Research background preferred.

Necessary Skills / Attributes: Capacity to work under fast pace, and high pressure with a sense of urgency. Willing to travel 20%+ domestically or internationally depends on business need. Advanced in financial analysis and modeling skill preferred. Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with all assigned levels within the organization, internal customers and technology candidates. The ability to communicate the team goal and department vision to the team members effectively and hold quarterly evaluation session with each team member. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, including building and maintaining relationships. Capable to perform tasks and work assignments from the top management and complete clearly defined objectives using technical direction with applied knowledge of alternatives. Knowledge of Home appliance products such as laundry machine, refrigerator and electronic parts such PCB, sensors and so forth.
