Lubrizol is currently looking for a marketing specialist to join our LATAM Marketing Communications team.
In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with the LATAM Marketing Communications Manager to execute and measure marcomm strategies that inform, inspire, and engage our internal and external stakeholders.
This role is part of a Marketing Communications team responsible for a regional Marcomm approach, including developing and implementing marketing communication strategies and programs to bolster Lubrizol's overall brand awareness and opportunities throughout the LATAM region, with a main focus in Brazil.
The successful candidate must have a proven ability to develop and execute marketing communications strategies, create engaging content, and work with diverse departments.
Essential Job Functions:
Support the development and execution of One Lubrizol marketing communication strategies and plans for the LATAM region, aligned with the overall regional business and global marcomm objectives.
Seek opportunities to bolster Lubrizol's awareness in the market, in alignment with One Lubrizol brand projects and guidelines.
Collaborate with the regional marketing team to localize and adapt global marketing campaigns for the LATAM market, ensuring cultural relevance and effectiveness.
Maintain relationships with local PR agency to secure coverage and press releases to maximize brand exposure and PR opportunities.
Create engaging and localized content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, and blogs.
Execute digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, email marketing, website optimization, and SEO/SEM strategies.
Analyze and report marketing communication performance metrics and leverage insights to optimize future campaigns.
Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new marketing opportunities and ensure a competitive edge.
Establish relationships with internal clients and departmental groups to plan and execute communications projects.
Write and/or edit content in many forms and styles, focusing on presentations at special internal events and internal communications.
Develop initiatives to foster employee engagement and promote a positive company culture in the Latin America region.
Work closely with all other members in the Marketing Communications team to accomplish goals.
Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing communications.
Support marketing events in the LATAM region, including Lubrizol-owned events and industry conferences.
Support the translation process for internal and external communications, where necessary.
Support other internal and corporate communications initiatives as needed.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
Postgraduate/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
3-4 years of experience in marketing, internal communications, or corporate communications roles.
Ability to interact with diverse groups of people and develop strong networks.
Strong creative and copywriting skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
Cross-functional collaborator skilled at bringing people together.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
Ability to travel (regionally and potentially globally) up to 10%.
Demonstrated proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
