The Marketing Specialist will work alongside the Director of Brand & Product, and will collaborate with the other members of the marketing team as needed.

The Marketing Specialist will be working within Google Slides, Marketo, WordPress, and occasionally in SEO and performance marketing tools.
The Marketing Specialist will also get exposure to Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Salesforce, Buzzsumo, and other enterprise marketing tools.

You'll be learning many technical processes for executing daily marketing activities.

The Marketing Specialist will be exposed to the full array of marketing techniques, tools, and strategies employed by the Marketing team.
They will be part of strategic direction conversations, content creation, web analytics and SEO reports, web design, lead generation, sales enablement and many other important activities that make the Marketing team function.

In addition to a strong creative skill set, the Marketing Specialist must be extremely organized and able to execute on content projects to successfully get them out the door.
The work will require a certain amount of autonomy, so an independently driven self-starter is a must for this role.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Building and updating Google Slides presentations for marketing and sales purposes.
- Gathering examples of creative work we've delivered for clients, proactively and on-demand.
- Sourcing reviews from clients.
- Aggregating important data about brand reach.
- Creating and posting social proof (case studies, testimonials) and sourcing new client examples for publication on our website.
- Occasionally posting on our social media channels.
- Finding new opportunities for brand partnerships.
- Working in WordPress to build new SEO product and service pages, industry-specific sales pages, blog posts and pages for new regional site launches.
- Project management: Marketing Specialist will play an integral role in organizing and project managing marketing campaigns as needed.
- Ongoing management of YouTube channel uploads.
- Assisting Marketing team members with various activities.
- Updating and monitoring our brand messaging across the web.
**Key Success Factors**:
To be successful, this role requires:
- Experience with digital PR is a big plus.
- Proficiency with Google Slides and a good eye for design are preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with colleagues, customers and prospects alike.
- Experience with Marketo and WordPress is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and reliable.
- Understanding that this is a performance-based job.

**SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**:
- Fluent English speaking.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of work experience in digital marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
This is a 100% remote working role, so location is not important.
Your immediate supervisor would be based out of our Boston office in the US, however you'll be able to operate day to day in your local time zone, but on occasion be able to adjust your schedule to cover meetings or calls with staff and prospects in other time zones.
As such you must be setup to operate effectively from your own work-space and be comfortable with pure remote / home-based working.
Brafton's core business is heavily remote focused - and was so well before the COVID-19 pandemic, as such the business is extremely agile and well adapted to such working practices.
Marketing Assistants are responsible for providing and maintaining at their own cost and expense their own computer infrastructure, internet connection and any industry-related hardware.
