The Intern will be working directly with the New Energies Hydrogen team and will interact with the Extended New Energies Teams, CCUS and Geothermal.
The daily activities will include participation in internal and external meetings, conducting primary and secondary desk research, preparing and presenting reports, and participating from time to time in customer visits and marketing events such as tradeshows, conferences, and exhibitions.
MAIN ACTIVITIESIdentification of pioneering sites and companies backed by a favourable financial and legislative framework.
For green hydrogen projects, inventory of projects and associated market estimates (MW capacity, technology used, etc.
).Analyse the hydrogen project pipeline, including project dynamics, identification, and analysis of the main players in different technological segments of hydrogen production and storage in different regions of the world.Estimation of sites suitable for hydrogen storage over the next 5-10 years (USA, Europe; MEA) and by sector (power-to-x, grid balancing, hydrogen refuelling stations) and quantification of potential steel pipes demand (tons).Support to hydrogen director and marketing manager in preparation of contacts with project stakeholders.The exact scope of the missions will be specified according to the progress of the projects on the various themes.Actively contribute to the implementation of Vallourec go-to-market strategy by identifying and analysing the active hydrogen projects, mapping the project structure, and clarifying the roles of individual project participants, to support market analysis and prepare business development activities.REQUIRED EXPERIENCEYou are proficient in Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
