As we expand our operations globally, particularly in Latin America and Brazil, the role of the Marketing Translator and Copywriter becomes crucial. This position will be an integral part of our US-based remote marketing team, playing a vital role in articulating our platform's advantages to these markets..
Responsibilities Translate marketing materials from English to LATAM Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, ensuring cultural relevance, linguistic accuracy and localization of terminology. Collaborate with the marketing team to adapt and develop marketing copy for various marketing channels, such as web-pages, blogs, one-pagers, video scripts, descriptions and more. Proofread and edit translated and original content to maintain brand consistency and quality. Work closely with design teams to ensure visual and textual alignment in marketing materials. Stay updated on industry developments and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies. Provide linguistic support for internal communications and documentation as needed. Requirements Proficiency in written and spoken LATAM Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, with experience in translation from English to these languages. Experience in marketing translation and copywriting, preferably in the Real Estate and/or Mortgage sectors. Strong understanding of cultural nuances and differences in LATAM-Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for grammar, syntax, and style. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand messaging. Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword optimization techniques - a plus. Bachelor's degree in Translation, Marketing, Communications, or a related field - a plus.
