MATERIAL/SHADER ARTIST FOR UNREAL ENGINEBig Moxi Games is hiring a Mid/Senior Material Artist to help in the development of AAA games with a global reach. We are looking for professionals with at least 3 years of experience to join us in creating amazing games for PC and consoles.Responsibilities:Develop and implement high-quality materials and shaders for our games using Unreal Engine.Collaborate with the art and engineering teams to create visually stunning and optimized assets.Work closely with level designers to ensure materials and shaders integrate seamlessly into the game environment.Optimize materials and shaders for performance without compromising visual quality.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to materials and shaders during development.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in material and shader creation.Required Skills:Proficiency in Unreal Engine, particularly in material and shader creation.Strong understanding of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) principles.Experience with node-based shader creation.Excellent artistic skills with a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex material and shader issues.Good communication and collaboration skills.Pluses:Experience with other game engines (e.g., Unity).Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or HLSL.Familiarity with 3D modeling and texturing tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, Substance Painter).Background in traditional art or graphic design.Additional Information:This is a full-time position.Our studio is located in Porto Alegre, Brazil, but we are open to remote candidates.Applicants should submit a portfolio showcasing their material and shader work.On-site or Remote Position.We offer assistance for relocating to our state.About the CompanyBig Moxi Games is currently developing Wardens Rising, a blend of fast-paced isometric action and base defense for PC and console.
