The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities related to the storage and shipping of products.
Duties include conducting inventory control, preparing reports, and creating manuals for operational procedures.Increase production efficiency by improving material flow and reducing delays.Reduce costs associated with material handling by implementing efficient processes.Foster a collaborative work environment across teams to ensure smooth material handling operations.Role ResponsibilitiesSupervises the activities of workers involved in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials to ensure the efficient movement of materials.Conducts inventory control, analysis, and classification in accordance with material management procedures to ensure effective logistics deployment.Prepares or oversees the preparation of correspondence, reports, and manuals related to operations, maintenance, and safety to establish the appropriate range and depth of spares, tools, and test equipment.Develops and optimizes material flow processes to ensure the efficient delivery of parts and materials within the production area.Collaborates with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to establish material handling standards and processes.Manages inventory control systems and monitors stock levels to minimize shortages and prevent excess inventory.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Proven experience in material flow, logistics, or production engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
