Join us in shaping our future–and yours.What You Will DoThe Materials Sr Scientist will be responsible to lead global and regional chemical raw material projects for marketed products in the Consumer Health portfolio in NA, ensuring business continuity through science. Leading alternate materials qualifications, supplier changes implementation and providing plant support to solve materials issues from internal/external manufacturing plants under restricted timelines. This position will coordinate and execute technical aspects of projects, report metrics, elaborate technical documentation, propose simplification and improvements, and interact with cross-functional teams and suppliers regionally and globally to implement projects.Key Responsibilities:Qualify alternate raw material suppliers owning the end to end process.Provide technical assessment, recommendation, and write reports for assigned raw materials.The scientist will need to prioritize and execute multiple projects with various business impact at the regional and global level.Assess impact of raw material changes to different types of formulations and coordinate changes implementation.Resolve issues with raw materials/products and processes.Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline and simplify procedures, documentation and systems.Manage and coordinate low and high complexity projects with cross-functional team and SMEs, report metrics, and interact with and/or lead cross-functional teams to implement projects.Work independently to drive technical resolutions.Thrive in uncertain circumstances.
