Travel may be required.
** PLEASE SUBMIT RESUMES IN ENGLISH **Main activities:Supervision of mechanical installation services during the installation phase of the cable plant and major equipment and setting to work.Technical supervision as well as monitoring the progress of the respective installation and setting to work activities.Assistance with project-related processes, specifications, and initiation of quality assurance measures.Assistance during the handover of the respective installation area or system to class and customer.Clarification of open issues with W-SAM engineering and supplier.Support for the engineering for installation-related questions.Ensure reporting to the sub-supplier team, Site Supervision Manager, and the project manager.Recognize and mitigate risks in the installation area or the system (HSE, technical, and commercial).Support sub-supplier in recognizing, reporting, and tracking additional costs.Support sub-supplier in coordinating the respective subcontractor on board and respective mechanical tasks, resources, and due dates.Assist sub-supplier in work preparation of the respective installation tasks.Requirements:Technical course in Mechanical.CFT register.Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.Experience working as a field mechanical professional.Experience in reading and following technical (standard) documents.Experience in commissioning is a plus.Wärtsilä knowledge and business understanding.Advanced English (written and spoken).Skills:Communicate effectively with customers & colleagues.Safety-oriented.Team management.Problem-solving.Planning and target setting.Reporting and analytical skills.Last application date: 12/01/2025.At Wärtsilä, we value, respect, and embrace all our differences, and are committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunities; everyone can be their true self and succeed based on their job-relevant merits and abilities.This is WärtsiläWärtsilä is a global leader in innovative technologies and lifecycle solutions for the marine and energy markets.
