*** IMPORTANT: Please send English CV only *** Purpose of the Role (offshore position): The Mechanical supervisor will assist the Maintenance Superintendent (E&I SPDT) in all Mechanical related activities. He will act as the focal point for the day-to-day activity and will be accountable for the productivity of the mechanical team, this means that he will have to plan and arrange the team with the mechanical lead to optimize the work and ensure employees are given the right task. Prior the job; he will need to confirm that the task ahead is well understood and will help the mechanical lead to conduct the toolbox talks. He will have to make sure that SAP is updated properly, and that information entered in the work order are accurate. Job Function: 1 . Team Leadership and Supervision: Manage and direct the activities of mechanical technicians, ensuring effective team management and development. Provide clear guidance and support to the team, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency. 2 . Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work is conducted safely and in compliance with EHS processes, including permit to work systems, process safety protocols, safety meetings, root cause investigations, and risk assessments. Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) on the asset. 3 . Maintenance Planning and Execution: Coordinate and implement maintenance work and planning, ensuring timely and efficient execution of maintenance activities. Monitor systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Ensure the plant, equipment, and processes are maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. 4 . Operational Efficiency and Documentation: Prepare and maintain relevant procedures, reports, records, and documents required for daily operations and projects. Ensure maintenance tasks, procedures, and Bill of Materials (BOM) are accurately developed and maintained in SAP. Maintain comprehensive maintenance records and reports within SAP. 5 . Inventory and Budget Management: Manage the spares inventory through SAP, including the designation of critical spares and adherence to the sparing strategy. Prepare and manage the annual Opex budget, ensuring cost-effective maintenance operations and cost reduction. 6 . Continuous Improvement: Drive Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) continuous improvement initiatives, including reviewing M&R performance metrics, defect elimination initiatives, and managing the equipment bad actor register. Ensure the asset is compliant with all Maintenance and Reliability standards and best practices. Qualification & Experience: Technical Mechanical Degree or engineer certificate Mandatory minimum of 10 years previous experience on O&G production installations Proficiency in SAP environment is an advantage for the position Mandatory experience leading teams and engage manual/hands-on activities Fluent in English Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PI process book
