In this role, you will be responsible for performing financial analysis, maintaining financial records, and producing accurate financial reports.
You will collaborate with various teams within the organization to analyze financial data and provide valuable insights to support decision-making.
Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for posting invoices received from vendors in order to assure the right payments, right tax to be collect.
- Monitoring invoices issued against Envalior Brazil and give the right accounting and tax treatment.
- Responsible to import and export costs analyses in order to guarantee the correct cost of products.
- Responsible for reconciliation of accounts related taxes on goods, service and freights.
- Responsible for reconciliation of balance sheet accounts in order to assure the correct financial statements.
- Supporting the closing process to deliver timely the financial package
- Provide inputs for local and group financial statements, in order to enable preparation in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and existing local and fiscal law to obtain clean audit opinions.
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS, internal guidelines and local GAAP.
This includes the preparation and reconciliation of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and technical delivery of datasets on a monthly, quarterly, yearly or project base for both IFRS and local GAAP.
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts in order to assure the correct financial statements.
**Requirements**:
- A bachelor's or master's degree, mandatory in accounting with active CRC ( Brazilian certification public accountant)
- Proven experience as an Accounting Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- 3-5 yrs experience in accounting field
- The ability to read, speak, and write in English (additional languages are a plus)
