Job Description Qualifications:Boeing Brazil is seeking a Mid-Career Structural Analysis Engineer with knowledge of stress analysis methods, engineering principles, and coordination skills, reporting to the Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos office. The Mid-Career Structural Analysis Engineer will join the BR&T Structures team and will develop and provide support for the primary and secondary structures of the X-66 airplane.Position Responsibilities:Develop, integrate, and document structural modifications on system and sub-system levels.Guide product design and verify structural integrity of parts and components by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to ensure safety, quality, and performance of the product.Participate in customer and other stakeholders' communication to drive solutions that meet or exceed expectations.Define affected structural requirements, create certification reports (analysis or tests) to substantiate stress analysis results to be disclosed and approved by customers and regulatory agencies.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.Must have a degree in Engineering.Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Applicable to Brazilian, recent engineering graduates within 6 months, and foreign engineers when the employer is willing to sponsor a visa.Proficient in both verbal and written communication skills in the English Language.Experience with Structures Engineering.Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):Experience in structural analysis methods and tools (Hand-Calculation and Finite Element Analysis Method).Experience with design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials.Direct experience working with compliance demonstration for regulatory requirements (ANAC/FAA).Occasional travel may be required in support of the program and customer, both domestically and internationally.Experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in an engineering environment.Experience with mechanical systems (propulsion).Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Additional Information:This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.
