What you will do in your day-to-day: Perform all activities listed below in national and/or international projects as needed; Conduct meetings with client analysts via video conference, developing strategic questions related to their business/process at the start of each project or sprint; Define with the client and tech lead, via video conference, the business metrics of the project and how they relate to the machine learning model to deliver the best solution, whenever a new project arises; Query and extract data from the client's database using SQL to build machine learning models, whenever a new project arises; Build graphs using Python programming and libraries like matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, to generate data visualizations during the exploratory analysis phase of the project; Build data processing pipelines in Python, mainly using Pandas and scikit-learn, for training and inference of machine learning models, whenever a new project arises; Plan and validate machine learning models using techniques like cross-validation to achieve client acceptance, whenever a new project arises; Create and/or use evaluation metrics with Python programming and scikit-learn library to assess machine learning model performance, whenever a new project arises; Create and present slides using G-Suite tools to highlight exploratory analysis results and model outcomes to the client, demonstrating business impact in non-technical language, whenever a new project arises; Develop and document the project using activity management tools, GitHub, and Jupyter notebooks for knowledge management, as needed; Develop proofs of concept for potential projects, assist in structuring the solution architecture of new projects, and write technical commercial proposals using G-Suite tools for client presentation, as needed; Deploy machine learning models in the client's environment using Python programming for new predictions during and after project execution; Participate in interviews and evaluate candidates in the recruitment process using Google Meet and our ATS, to support the selection of the best candidates to join the team, as needed; Provide data science training to clients using client tools and technologies, Python, and cloud platforms, to enhance knowledge management both internally and externally to BIX, whenever the opportunity arises.
