Middle/Senior C++ Engineer (Adtech)

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to help design, build, and support our high-quality, innovative video advertising platform. This position is virtually based. The team connects different platforms in the advertising ecosystem, handles the business logic of fair trading between supply and demand, and responds to the right video ads to be viewed.CUSTOMEROur client brings together the best in media and technology. They empower the television industry to monetize premium content through a robust technology platform, ensuring high-quality video viewing across all devices, and driving innovation to create the world's best entertainment and online experiences.RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirementsAnalyze to determine integration needsDesign new software and web applications, support applications under development, and customize current applicationsAssist with the software update process for existing applications and rollouts of software releasesParticipate in training representatives and operations staff on internally developed software applicationsResearch, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reportsMonitor and evaluate competitive applications and productsReview literature, patents, and current practices relevant to assigned projects' solutionsProvide technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance concerning practices, procedures, and techniquesServes as a guide and mentor for junior-level Software Development EngineersDemonstrate in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialtyDemonstrate in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skillsPresent and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal audiencesREQUIREMENTS3-5 years of experience as a Software EngineerExtensive experience with C/C++, DB design, and network programmingExperience with large system software design and developmentDemonstrated expertise in problem-solving and technical innovationStrong passion for learning/practicing new techniquesKnowledgeable about SDLC, Agile, and Software Engineering MethodologyTeamwork skills and good communication skillsStrong ability and persistence in technical supportWOULD BE A PLUSAdvertising industry experienceExperience with distributed systems and mission-critical systemsFamiliarity with the Open RTB protocol
