Job Summary: Caterpillar's MineStar Solutions, a department within Resource Industries, is currently seeking candidates for the MineStar Training Development Program. In this role, selected candidates will obtain working knowledge from all critical areas required to be a successful specialist on the autonomous operations team. Over the course of a one to two-year period, once the program has completed, the individuals will then be placed onto an autonomous operations group as either an Autonomous Application Specialist or Autonomous Onboard Specialist to continue their career within the Caterpillar organization.
Minimum Requirements: Must be graduated from or enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following degree programs: IT, Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, Mechatronic Engineering or similar or the equivalent experience.Brazil Graduation date must be before June 2025.Chile Graduation date must be before December 2024.The location for this position is (Chile, Brazil).Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.Availability to travel to the US for training in June 2025 for an extended period.Mandatory to have a passport and American B1-B2 visa or Visa Waiver program.Pre-advanced level B2+ of English, (evaluated in interview).Ability to work on a remote mine site on a defined roster schedule.What You Will Do: As part of the training program, you will be exposed to various areas of the Caterpillar mining technology business. You will participate in targeted rotations intended to give you a high-level overview of the company and specific working groups to ensure that you are well prepared to formally join the autonomous haulage operations group. After successful completion of the program, you will be placed onto a Caterpillar autonomous haulage team based on a customer site, as an application or an onboard specialist.
