We are supporting a start up in stealth mode, located in NY, to find their next
Mobile Unity Engineer . They are an AdTech who offer personalized B2C SDK to support their customers revenue generation and app capitalization. They now offer this mobile advertising platform as a service to third-party mobile applications to power their programmatic advertising needs.
Challenge
Our ideal candidate is skilled in Unity Package. You'll be part of a small, smart team with enormous opportunity to own, architect, test, and push the boundaries of the platforms in order to build the future of digital history. The role requires a mix of hands-on application development coding skills along with comprehensive technical knowledge of the components of large-scale mobile applications.
What you'll do

Architect, design, and implement /extend a currently existing Unity Mobile SDK.

Lead Unity Development (Android, iOS, Unity Editor, Unity Mobile Ecosystem).

Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
- Developing a Unity Package with native Android and iOS Plugins.
- Retrieving data from Kotlin and Swift APIs for use in C# codeIntegrating Android / iOS libraries as package dependencies.
- Creating Unity Editor components to configure mobile platform builds
- Work closely with the currently existing Mobile team, CTO, director of solutions engineering, and VP of
Product.
- Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve issues in software (SDKFix and resolve any reported or escalated bugs)

Documentation: maintain the Unity SDK and integration documentation

Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure robustness and reliability.
In order to succeed in this position, you will need
Mandatory skills
- Proficient in one programming language such as C#, Java (Android), Kotlin, or Swift.
- Experience with
Unity Editor
- Experience b uilding pipelines for Unity cross platform development
- Experience with
Unity Mobile Ecosystem
- Experience with
Mobile SDK development
Nice to have
- Some experience working on in-app advertising technology
Non-technical skills
- Desire to learn and grow your skillset - open to provide and receive feedback, applying it accordingly
- Strong communicator - will not hesitate to involve the team when in doubt, and will also give the team visibility on progress and blockers
- A focus on the customer and an understanding that shipping impactful software involves collaboration and trade-offs
