The ideal candidate will drive sales and grow Cisco's footprint within the public sector, including government agencies, educational institutions, and healthcare organizations. This role requires a deep understanding of networking solutions, demonstrating Cisco's portfolio of networking solutions, including SD-WAN, Meraki, ISE, and Spaces, strong relationship-building skills, and a strategic approach to account management.What You Will Do:The Public Sector Account Executive is responsible for positioning and selling Networking revenue. Through ambitious prospecting, finding opportunities, and collaborating with Cisco account teams and partners, drive deals through close delivering on and exceeding quarterly quota. Your success will depend on your ability to sell, and on the relationships you develop with regional channel partners and Cisco account teams. This is a high-energy position. We are looking for someone deeply motivated and results-driven with a hunter mentality; it will also require someone equally comfortable working in a strategic and tactical capacity.The candidate for this job must possess Government market knowledge (customer, competitors, suppliers, overall environment) and vast experience running Public Tender, and RFP processes.Conducts regular business reviews, using internal analytics and market intelligence to gain customer insights, and understands trends in data to grow the business by communicating strategic solutions to the customer.Wide Experience in prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and targeting Government customers-related market account profiles.Ability to build and foster long-term relationships with Public Sector customers.Be curious and self-starting, learning and absorbing from others.Work in a highly collaborative environment to team with Cisco Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Channel Partners to drive revenue and contribute to bold YoY growth rates.Develop a predictable pipeline of short, mid, and long-term business every week.Show up daily with a willingness to learn, help, and collaborate with passion for your customer.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, focusing on networking solutions and the public sector.Consistent track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.Strong understanding of Cisco's networking portfolio and the ability to articulate the value proposition to customers.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proficiency in Portuguese and English is required.Why Cisco?#WeAreCisco. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
