The primary focus will be managing our Discord community, which includes engaging with customers, addressing questions, and supporting those participating in the closed beta of our new NoPing client.
The ideal candidate must be empathetic, patient, and skilled at extracting valuable feedback from customers to assist the development team in resolving issues.In addition to Discord, the Community Manager will oversee communication on other social media platforms, ensuring customers are supported and the brand voice remains consistent.Key ResponsibilitiesDiscord Community Management : Create and maintain a welcoming environment on Discord, respond to customer queries, and manage feedback, particularly from closed beta participants.Social Media Interaction : Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.Bug Tracking and Reporting : Organize and document reported issues using Trello or Jira, ensuring clear and efficient communication with the development team for swift resolutions.Customer Support : Actively listen to customer concerns, empathize with their challenges, and ensure their pain points are effectively communicated to internal teams.Collaboration : Participate in daily one-on-one meetings with the supervisor to align on priorities and weekly team meetings to strategize and plan upcoming tasks.Required QualificationsProven experience in community management, particularly with Discord, and a strong understanding of its functionality.Knowledge of Discord bots and automation (considered a plus).Advanced English (written and spoken): Ability to engage with international customers, participate in English-speaking calls, and provide clear written communication.Gamer with 5+ years of experience in MOBA, FPS, RTS, or MMORPG genres (mandatory).Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Development (mandatory).Strong organizational skills, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while addressing customer concerns.Preferred SkillsPassionate about gaming and deeply involved in gaming communities.Knowledge of Discord bots and automation to enhance community engagement.Job DetailsContract Type: PJWork Schedule: Full-timeLocation: RemoteIf you are a dedicated gamer and an experienced Community Manager, passionate about connecting with players and making their voices heard, we want to hear from you!Send your resume and portfolio to [contact email] , with the subject: Community Manager - NoPing.Join NoPing and help us elevate the gaming experience for players around the globe!
