Position : NR13 Inspector Contract : Start from Mid July - Oct 2024 Location: China Language: English (Chinese would be a plus) Job Purpose: The NR 13 Qualified Professional will ensure that the project is compliant with the NR 13 regulations from Brazilian authorities. Candidates should have the documents as follows: CV/Resume (ENGLISH) Passport Covid Vaccination Certificate BOISET / FOET (OPITO) Other required documents and certificates related to the position Principal Accountabilities: As part of the Interface management team, ensure full compliance with all applicable NR 13 regulatory requirements. To perform NR13 & SPIE Internal/External Safety Inspections of NR13 & SPIE Equipment, according to SAME Inspection Procedure. To perform NR13 & SPIE External Safety Inspections of NR13 & SPIE Piping, according to SAME Inspection Procedure. Issue inspection reports and ensure that are conclusive according to the criteria established in the procedure, in accordance with SPIE and NR13 Brazilian legislation. Whenever applicable, follow-up and witness inspections and hydrostatic tests at vendor´s and topside module fabrication premises. To issue and manage punch items based on performed inspections. To issue any ART for NR-13 scope of work, if necessary. To review thickness measurement reports delivered by fabrication yard (if applicable). Technical Competencies: Well versed with NR 13 and SPIE standard requirements Understanding of legislation relevant to petroleum activities. Understanding of contractual requirements and business development needs. Knowledge and experience with NR13 and SPIE compliance processes in the Brazilian oil and gas industry, including obtaining approvals. Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with Regulators and senior managers. Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in the execution of major offshore oil & gas, specifically following NR13 aspect of major projects. Managed at least two (2) projects involving major topsides fabrication and minimum one (1) FPSO project.
