NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for a new EU funded project - Technical Assistant for Digital Jamaica , and is looking to identify individual experts to carry out the assignment. The overall objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is to increase inclusive access to and use of ICT in Jamaica, in support of the country's transitioning activities towards becoming a digital economy and society. Duration: The intended start date is March 2025 and the period of implementation of the contract will end July 2027. Location : The contractor will be based at the Office of the Prime Minister, Jamaica. Key Expert 1 (Social Sector Expert) ?? Qualifications and skills: At least a Master Degree in either Public Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, International Relations or equivalent professional experience of at least eight (8) years. Excellent interpersonal consultation and communication skills, ability to dialogue with national authorities and institutional structures, interact with government officials and to establish harmonious working relationships and support coordination in a multi-sector working environment. Proficiency in the use of the Internet, Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software for word processing, spreadsheet, presentation tool, meeting tools etc. is required. ?? General professional experience: A minimum of six (6) years of proven experience in managing the implementation of either social sector projects, programmes or policies. Experience in the direct implementation of government social sector policy reform is an advantage. Experience in the direct implementation and or management of digital transformation projects in social sectors is an advantage. Experience in implementing EU-funded Budget Support Programmes is an advantage. Experience in developing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports is required. ?? Specific professional experience: A minimum of six (6) years in the management of externally funded projects in developing countriesis required; the management of multi-sector projectsin this context is an advantage. Experience in managing EU funded programme in the English-speaking Caribbean is an advantage. Must be fully proficient in English, both written and oral, with at least three (3) years working experience in an English-speaking environment.
