Responsibilities: Develop procedures and anticipate crisis intervention for acute illnesses and injuries; Maintain, assess, and interpret cumulative health data to address the individual needs of students and staff; Plan and implement health management protocols for school-aged children and children with special health needs, including medication administration; Promote and assist in the control of communicable diseases through preventive immunization programs, early detection, surveillance, and reporting of contagious diseases; Provide direct health education and health counseling to assist students and teachers; Support teachers on student health matters; Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, school policy, and administrative procedures; Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and school facilities; Attend extracurricular activities beyond the regular school day; Attend faculty meetings and participate in committee meetings when requested; Assist in obtaining resources and support for students through Student Services; Perform other necessary and reasonable duties as assigned by the administration.
Requirements: Fluent in English (written and spoken); Degree in Nursing; Proficiency in Google Suite; Experience in health administrative functions is preferred.
