We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Project Manager in the Power Generation sector, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical and administrative execution of large-scale power generation and oil & gas projects. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring project deliverables are met, and overseeing project planning, risk management, and budgeting. Knowledge of turbine gas equipment, including LM6000, LM2500, TM2500, boilers, and Jenbacher systems is required. The Office Project Manager will also manage stakeholders, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and maintain quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities: Lead the development of detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Ensure project deliverables are achieved on time and within the set budget. Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, from initiation to completion. Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, finance, and construction personnel. Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members. Collaborate with external contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards. Monitor project performance and adjust as necessary to minimize risks. Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency. Forecast financial outcomes and adjust project plans accordingly. Work closely with finance teams to track expenditures and report on financial performance. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and contractors. Provide regular project updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders. Manage communications and ensure alignment between all project participants. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate turbine gas equipment (LM6000, LM2500, TM2500, boilers, and Jenbacher) into project deliverables. Oversee the production of control system designs, PLC/HMI system configurations, and related technical documentation. Provide remote support to site commissioning teams. Implement quality control processes to ensure that all project activities meet the required specifications. Coordinate with technical teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. Ensure compliance with all environmental and regulatory requirements related to power generation projects. Stay updated on changes in industry regulations, permitting processes, and governmental guidelines. Conduct post-project reviews, identifying lessons learned to improve processes and enhance future project execution. Desired Characteristics: Proven experience managing large-scale power generation projects (500MW+). Familiarity with renewable energy projects (solar, wind) is a plus. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate across different locations and time zones. Strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Energy, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Minimum of 10 years of experience in project execution and management, with at least 5 years focused on power generation or related fields such as energy, utilities, or infrastructure. Expertise in turbine gas equipment, including LM6000, LM2500, TM2500, boiler systems, and Jenbacher. Strong understanding of power generation technologies (thermal, hydro, solar, wind, etc.) is highly desirable. Exceptional leadership abilities, communication and problem-solving skills. Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and project accounting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to power generation and oil & gas projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Detail-oriented and focused on project deliverables. English proficiency (reading, writing and speaking). Other languages is a plus.
