Offshore Obn Survey Party Chief

Channel Ship Services Limited is currently seeking an Offshore OBN Survey Party Chief to lead our offshore cable and seabed survey projects.This role involves overseeing a team of surveyors and ensuring high-quality data collection while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.We are particularly interested in candidates with OBN survey experience to contribute to our diverse range of projects.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the offshore OBN survey team during assigned projects.Ensure compliance with all safety and quality control procedures.Plan and execute survey operations while optimizing data collection methods.Perform real-time data monitoring and quality assurance throughout operations.Compile, analyze, and report survey results to project stakeholders.Supervise and mentor junior surveyors and technical staff.Liaise with clients and other project teams to ensure alignment on objectives.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Geomatics, Marine Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of offshore survey experience, with a focus on OBN operations.Strong leadership and project management skills.Proficiency in survey techniques and the use of relevant software.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work in remote locations and adapt to dynamic conditions.Valid offshore safety certifications and training.
