Pain points like these are why more than a third of all SFR owners turn to property managers for help. Full-service property management for SFRs is a hyper-local and highly fragmented business. And just like the owners, property managers have little in the way of data, tools, and automated processes to enable them to scale and work smartly. Further, there is a misalignment of incentives between traditional property managers and the owners they represent – managers can promise a high rental rate to win the business, but do so without consequence if they secure a lower rate. They pitch fast leasing timeframes but have no skin in the game when vacancies stretch from weeks to months. Missteps on both of these fronts come at a high cost; they often are the difference between a homeowner making or losing money on their rental property each year. The Role We are seeking to recruit a Homes Coordinator, offering a competitive starting wage ranging from $4.00 to $5.00 USD per hour, commensurate with qualifications and prior experience. The Coordinator position on the Homes Team is a vital role working independently on day-to-day property repair management as we prepare for listing and tenants. We're looking for candidates with a multitasking and motivated mindset, who have passionate commitment to quality work and are extremely detail-oriented. This role is split to spend 80% of time managing their own projects, including new and existing properties, while 20% of time is spent assisting a Project Manager with a strong customer-first mentality, flexible thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Project-manage property repairs Ensure the property repairs lifecycle for each property from beginning to end is always on schedule Provide exceptional client support Deliver timely, professional responses to owners, vendors and tenants for repair inquiries via phone call, text and/or email within communication SLAs. Build maintenance vendor network Develop partnerships with repair vendors to grow reliable network Uphold expectations on quality of work and repairs pricing Maintain property standards Be willing to learn, understand and comply with state, local and Doorstead property condition standards and regulations Comply with tenant-landlord requirements and strict deadlines pertaining to Security Deposit Return laws Embody Doorstead's values and team culture (Athlete, Lifelong Learner, Troupe, Pioneer).
