Job Description: We are seeking an expert in Optimization and Simulation of Scenarios with a strong background in Operations Research to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and applying mathematical models, simulations, and optimization techniques to help the company make data-driven decisions and optimize operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex systems, identify improvement opportunities, and simulate potential scenarios to support strategic planning. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement advanced optimization models and simulations to solve complex business problems using MAIOR Suite software. Apply operations research techniques to analyze, model, and optimize processes in the mobility area. Conduct scenario analysis and simulations to evaluate potential outcomes and recommend the best course of action for our clients. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business analysts to gather relevant data and insights for model development. Interpret and present complex analytical results to non-technical stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in optimization, simulation, and operations research to continuously enhance the quality of solutions provided. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for models, methodologies, and processes developed. Work on projects involving supply chain optimization, resource allocation, scheduling, and other operational challenges. Qualifications and basic skills: Master's or PhD degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in optimization, simulation, and operations research, preferably in the mobility sector. Strong proficiency in mathematical modeling, optimization algorithms, and simulation techniques. Experience with software tools such as Gurobi, CPLEX, AnyLogic, Scheduling Software Tools or similar platforms. Solid programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex problems into solvable models. Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Good Level of English written, reading and speaking.
