We are an equal opportunity employer.What do we expect of you?Reporting into the Assistant F&B Manager, you ensure that Mondrian guests have exceptional dining experiences. You are responsible for the financial performance of the venue and that the team you lead is expertly trained and well supported. You are a seasoned restaurant manager and will draw upon your professional experience to lead an exciting and efficiently running operation. You are a skilled communicator to both colleagues and guests alike. You are well organized, composed under pressure, well-groomed, and enthusiastic about service. Your ability to identify, onboard, train, and develop personnel is key.How your day looks:Identify, onboard, train and develop personnel. Manage performance and conduct periodic review of staff. Develop retention plan.Collate information from BOH & FOH regarding daily operation. Disseminate information about daily ops to wider team.Ensure that standards and procedures are being understood and practiced. Continuously ideate on workflow efficiencies.Maintain a CRM database to identify and nurture key guest relationships. Lead service recovery efforts when necessary.Organise activations and group bookings at the venue. Align with brand partners. Liaise with marketing team to maximise communication benefits.Be fully accountable for budget and P&L management.Manage inventory and inventory reporting. Investigate causes of variance.Oversee relationships with vendors. Ensure favourable trade terms.Set preventative maintenance schedule for all relevant operational equipment.Guarantee compliance where relevant (hygiene, licensing, employment …etc)Prepare reports to communicate (daily, monthly, quarterly. Etc) performance results to the executive team.
