Position Summary As a Packaging Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually stunning and impactful packaging designs for our pet products. You will conceptualize, design, and execute packaging solutions that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product development, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of packaging designs. You will also be responsible for managing the entire packaging design process, from initial concept development to final production. Location: LATAM Schedule: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST, 40 hours per week. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience as a Packaging Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing packaging design projects for both private label and licensed products. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling and concise product descriptions. Knowledge of printing processes and materials. Understanding of sustainability principles in packaging design. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Previous experience working B2B, with Startup companies and American Clients. Professional English Level. Responsibilities Conceptualize and design packaging for various pet products, including private label and licensed goods, such as pet food, toys, grooming supplies, and accessories. Craft persuasive and informative product copy that highlights key features and benefits, ensuring the packaging effectively communicates the value of our products. Ensure that packaging designs align with our brand guidelines and effectively communicate our brand's identity and values. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor packaging, and consumer preferences to create packaging that stands out on the shelves. Create dielines and templates for packaging production, ensuring accurate sizing and layout. Review and approve packaging proofs and prototypes to ensure accuracy and quality before production. A keen eye for color and typography, with the ability to create visually appealing and impactful designs.
