About----------Location : Anywhere in Brazil (remote working)Compensation : Dependent on experience with bonus on sales and company performanceDiscord is an under-appreciated marketing channel given the high levels of engagement and Wildfire is the only solution that allows brands to reach the 200 million MAUs with paid marketing.Creating a Discord community doesn't satisfy 99% of briefs – that's a retention play. We run effective campaigns for the likes of Samsung, Intel, World of Warships, Acer and more using our data and creative strategy.Given Brazil is the second largest region for Discord users, we want to maximise sales in the region so we're hiring a Partnerships Manager to drive revenue using proof points in other markets.As a key hire, you will have immense responsibility to grow both as an individual and to contribute to these early stages of an accelerating startup, launching a market and running your own team over the next year and beyond, as we scale.You'll join a determined and ambitious team to drive results for our gaming and entertainment clients in ways that have never been done before, creating a category from zero with the goal of making Discord a mainstream paid media channel through the work we do.If you're a Discord and gaming fanatic , want to work hard, go far and create a role for yourself that scales quickly, this is the place for you.Responsibilities----------Acquire and negotiate deals with new advertisers by building commercial relationships with game developers and publishers as well as brands and their agencies.Grow our advertiser portfolio in Latin America both strategically and operationally with a primary focus on the Brazilian market.Educate brands and agencies about Discord and solutions offered by Wildfire in LATAM and worldwide.Build strong sales pipeline s across performance and brand campaigns.Work closely with Product and Campaigns teams to fulfil and renew client campaigns due to excellent performance.You----------Background : Minimum of 5 years of media sales, preferably in gaming or influencer channelsSeller : Demonstrable experience of growing accounts from your own efforts.Discord Expertise : Professional experience with the platform either through influencer campaigns, community management or other provable experience.Strategic Thinker : Strong ability to develop and execute strategic execution plans that align with client goals, through community partners.Excellent Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts effectively. As a remote team, writing well is essential.Cross-Functional : Work with our engineering team to enhance the product based on client feedback and your own ideas, and input across all areas of the business where relevant.
