Our team is growing, and we're looking for a Payroll Specialist to join us in São Paulo, Brazil.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with all relevant labor and tax laws.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of payroll systems, and an ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll calculations, benefits administration, and various HR-related processes, all while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to deadlines.
The ideal candidate should possess solid knowledge of Brazilian labor laws, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Responsibilities:Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with applicable labor and tax laws.Calculate salaries, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll components.Distribute payslips to employees and resolve any payroll-related discrepancies.Prepare initial registrations of employees in the system and with government bodies.Maintain an updated personnel database with personal and employment information.Manage budget and expenses related to payroll and benefits.Report to department managers and clients on daily activities and problems.Work directly with customers to achieve organizational objectives as needed.Address and resolve employee complaints related to payroll.Work with company database programs to process payroll.Prepare reports on payroll, company budget, and expenses.Employee vacation balance control.Process vacations and 13th salary.Calculate provisions and process termination of employment contracts.Offboarding of employees, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.Elaborate ancillary obligations relevant to the area (e.g., DCTFWEB, Employer WEB).Collaborate with the team to ensure all clients are satisfied with our services through timely and effective communication, on-time delivery, and stellar support.Schedule and control occupational health exams, ensuring they are carried out within the deadline set by law.Manage employee benefits – life insurance, food vouchers, meal vouchers, health plan, dental plan, private pension, etc.Manage additional charges to clients and prepare cost reports by employees.Search for HR service providers – benefits, software, etc.Prepare employment contracts and addendums.Prepare FAQ reports for clients.Update and maintain employee databases.Manage licenses and absences.Control timesheets and additional earnings/discounts.Manage event submissions to eSocial.Open and control update requests for Payroll Software.Complete annual labor audit dashboards.Control and manage payroll tax payment guides.Monitor labor legislation and collective labor agreements.Prepare the annual DIRF for income tax and generate/send annual income reports.Perform other activities relevant to the position.Mandatory Requirements:Complete graduation or studying in Accounting Sciences or related areas.At least 5 years of experience with demonstrated skill in Personnel Department and detailed-level payroll support.Excellent problem-solving skills and efficient response to deadlines.Motivation to complete workload within deadlines.High sense of confidentiality to protect confidential information.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Advanced English Level.Intermediate Excel skills.A strong commitment to ethics and demonstration of high integrity.Experience in Payroll Calculation and E-Social.Experience in Benefits Management.Strong knowledge of Labor Laws.Self-motivated and results-oriented.Desired Requirements:Experience in recruitment and human development.Experience in Labor Compliance.Experience in accounting, tax, and financial routines.Intermediate Spanish.Experience in multinational companies.Experience in leading people.WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!Biz Latin Hub (www.bizlatinhub.com) is a leading provider of accounting, legal, and recruitment services with a physical presence in all major markets across Latin America and the Caribbean.
