**Job Summary**: This role will be responsible for full life cycle payroll activities for a set of specific international countries. It is critical that the individual in this role have a strong customer service orientation and high level of accuracy. In addition, this person will contribute ideas to continuous improvement in systems and processes.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Review and certify international payroll transactions to ensure all recommended payments accurately reflect current compensation levels and withholdings in accordance with local labor laws and requirements.
- Communicate professionally and regularly with international payroll support vendors to ensure timely, accurate processing, and knowledge of local requirements.
- Understand/research proper taxation of employer paid benefits and country specific payroll tax laws.
- Process and record payroll and related transactions in accordance with monthly deadlines.
- Perform audit of payroll registers prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
- Research and propose resolution of any data conflicts that impact payroll processing.
- Assist employees with questions and respond timely and with a customer friendly approach.
- Communicate irregularities or issues to the Director timely.
- Process off cycle pay runs and process manual checks when required.
- Train/Understand other defined countries to act as back-up if necessary.
- Collect and provide reports and other supporting documentation for internal and/or external audit preparation.
- Monitor and distribute payroll reports ensuring consistency of all domestic and overseas reports.
- Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Provide general support of payroll operations and perform other related duties as required and assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant course; Payroll, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent years of experience.
**Experience**:
- 4-6 years of international payroll experience.
- Proven knowledge of full life cycle of payroll.
- Multi-site location support experience.
**Technical Skills**:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with payroll software and tax reporting.
- Fluency in Spanish is required, English is desirable.

- Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day.
- Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day.
- May be required to work longer than normal hours during payroll processing cycle.
