Reporting to the People Director LATAM and dotted to the General Manager (GM) of Brasil, this role will strengthen the People function in Brasil as a trusted business partner and advisor who provides value and contributes to the achievement of business outcomes. This position will provide support to the GM of Brasil and to the respective Leadership Team. It will manage all People activities and processes in alignment with the Three-Year Strategic Plan (3YSP) and blend local and global People practices in a seamless plan communicated clearly to the organization and executed within the defined timelines.Summary of Accountabilities
This role partners with the People Director for Latin America and the General Manager of Brazil to create and implement an HR strategy that aligns with the global People plan and drives Brazil's Three-Year Strategic Plan (3YSP). Responsible for executing both global and local HR processes, including performance, talent management, culture, engagement, organizational effectiveness, recruitment, onboarding, and retention. The role integrates all initiatives into a unified plan and communicates it effectively across the organization. Additionally, this position fosters strong relationships with key stakeholders to support Brazil's business objectives.Key Accountabilities
• Leadership Role:Provides a People perspective as part of the Brazil Leadership Team.
• Business Advisor:Offers credible and trusted guidance to the business.
• Coaching & Consulting: Supports Brazil with coaching and consulting on People-related matters
• Talent Strategy: Develops strategic plans for talent sourcing, development, and retention.
• Capability Development: Identifies organizational and technical capabilities needed to drive results.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Builds and maintains long-term relationships with stakeholders to address business challenges and leverage People solutions.
• Integrated Talent Strategy:Ensures the right talent is in place at the right time, focusing on development and retention.
• Talent Acquisition:Leads recruitment, onboarding, and works with external vendors to hire top talent.
• Talent Development:Conducts Learning Needs Analysis and implements a country-specific development plan to enhance organizational capability and performance.
• Talent Management:Deploys Global Talent Management processes to develop and retain high-potential employees.
• Global People Solutions:Co-designs Global People Solutions with the global team.
• People Systems & Tools: Utilizes systems to support processes and provides timely performance metrics.
• People Communication:Ensures frequent updates on People function activities through various communication channels.
• Werfen Ambassador:Promotes Werfen's brand through presentations at universities and with external partners.Knowledge & Experience:
•Minimum 10 years of work experience in People/Human ResourcesDept.
•Has min experience of 5 years as an People/Human Resources Manager or HR Business Partner.
•Previous experience in managing People Systems.
•Has experience in multinational corporate environments (companies with over 10,000 employees globally) and in complex global/matrix structures.
•Has knowledge of and has participated in projects related to compensation and benefits.
•Knowledge of People frameworks (culture, engagement, organization effectiveness, learning & development, talent) and People sub-functions: C&B, recruitment, labour relations, etc.
•Fluent in Portuguese and English.
