As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

People Leadership Enabling the success of the People Canada Team in supporting their employee life cycle. 
Alongside the Senior Manager and functional teams, help recruit, and onboard the right skilled resources to achieve results, profitability, and business plan objectives 
Work with management team to set clear objectives for team members based on capacity and specialization; managing performance through career discussions, feedback and timely conversations 
Identify, develop, reward and train resources with the right skills to develop a high performing team 
Serves as a liaison across sites (Canada and ACs) to collaborate, coordinate with counterparts to help translate unique cultural and other local needs, help address any challenges and opportunities 
Work across the team and across the function to create the right synergies between team members and the right work environment by adhering to all policies, procedures and guidelines where colleagues can thrive 
Operational Leadership Support the onboarding process to ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the Firm
Coordinate with various functional areas to ensure all necessary resources and training are provided
Monitor the progress of new hires during their onboarding period and provide support as needed
Oversees the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring that "business as usual" operations are managed and performing efficiently and effectively 
Be the primary point of contact for staff escalations and resolve issues with the support of relevant stakeholder(s)
Work with HC Canada team, CA AC Operations and local AC and functional teams to establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the site's operational efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated 
Monitor and oversee KPI's and facilitate opportunities to improve consistency 
Facilitate/improve operational excellence through process improvement, simplification and the use of automation and technology 
Strategic Thought Leadership Support the agreed strategy across the People Canada HC function 
Alongside the Senior Manager, support the Canada People HC team to support the strategic planning process. Acts as a trusted advisor to the CA AC Operation team, other business leaders and relevant stakeholders 
Supports the evaluation and recommend measurement criteria to monitor the performance of established strategies consistently, identifies inefficiencies, and develops actionable solutions. 
Supports use of strategy planning tools and methodologies to enhance customer satisfaction
