Job description / core competencies:
Prepare and analyse financial reports and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for management and stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of management accounts and the relevant information contained therein.
Monitor key performance indicators and provide insights to support strategic decision making.
Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement in financial performance.
Develop and maintain financial models and scenarios to support long-term planning.
Track actual vs budget variances and report on same
Analysing costs and cost drivers to identify cost reduction opportunities.
Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting and analysis.
Inventory analysis and valuation
Focus Area 1: Management and Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and associated schedules.
Variance analysis of costs and margin drivers
Develop and maintain forecasting models.
Identify trends in inventory, costs, and costing models KPIs:
Accurate and timely preparation of management accounts and associated schedules
Develop and maintain forecasting models.
Focus Area 2: Analysis of variances
Variances
Actual to budget
Margin analysis
Stock aging, costing and valuation assessment.
Working with other departments to resolve identified variances KPIs:
Analysing variances monthly and investigating the underlying factors causing them
Focus area 3: Performance improvements.
Contributing to cost reduction proposals based on identified variances.
Implementing cost reduction proposals
Analysing key performance indicators and proposing improvements to these indicators KPIs:
Identifying and implementing cost reduction measures or procedures to improve KPIs.

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CA or CIMA preferred).
2-4 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient or advanced knowledge of Excel and model building
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work well with a team and individually.
