JOB PURPOSE The BU & Quality Transformation Lead plays a crucial role in embedding a strong performance culture of quality within the business unit, ensuring every product delivers the best experience and delights our consumers.
This role champions product safety and superior quality, leading teams with passion and precision to uphold the highest standards.
The Quality Lead will oversee aspects of product quality in PC Latam with a turnover of over 1.8 billion Euros.
The role will be responsible for deploying quality strategy, governance, and goals that directly impact marketplace success, consumer safety, and the on-shelf quality of our products.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE Governance to ensure compliance of products by design and delivery.Partnering with the central expertise team on overall product safety, audit planning, and governance.Responsible for developing a transformation strategy for BU on quality with consumer feedback.Supporting the execution of transformation strategy for PC BG Quality and Latam Quality BU.Member of the Latam SCLT Team, leading quality strategic programs and quarterly governance.Define and deliver BU quality strategy and effective management systems.Partner to lead BU quality team and talent development.Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor quality strategy delivery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to address quality issues.Work with innovations and operations team on consumer complaints and feedback.Communicate quality objectives and performance metrics to senior management.Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.Support BU teams in developing and implementing the Quality Management System (QMS).Ensure that the QMS is maintained in a state of inspection readiness.Manage local embellishment, re-pack, and co-packing work.Maintain an effective Change Management system.Drive and deploy a digital Quality transformation program.Lead the BU E2E Culture Quality Transformation Program.WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED Experiences & Qualifications Solid experience in Supply Chain and Quality.A proven leader who is committed, enthusiastic, and capable of mentoring the quality team.Has driven transformational cross-functional projects.Strong knowledge of product safety regulations and standards.Quality management expertise: Developing and implementing quality control procedures.Previous experience as Senior Manager with Latam scope.Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.Skills Analytical skills: Utilizing data analysis tools to monitor quality metrics and implement corrective actions.Unilever embraces diversity and encourages applicants from all walks of life!
