Involves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination relating to the front-line operation which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, despatch activities and local customer service.
While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office-based activities.
Lead or senior levels of these positions may:
Handle escalated or more complex issues;
Coordinate team activities or those of agency contract staff;
Support supervisor or manager activities;
Support the design, review and implementation of processes and procedures.
General job description:
Receipt, release and shipment of cargo;
Provide support in the definition, review, implementation and improvement of organizational processes, operational flows and performance indicators of the sector;
Issuing reports of loads in the warehouse and en route of vendors drivers with daily accountability of the operational activities and routines of the sector;
Support in coordination of operational teams activities (Handlers);
Monitoring Vendors Drivers activities;
Control and handling of pending issues and returns;
Monitoring of indicators and accountability to management and external customers; when necessary prepare material and presentations, including participation in meetings with customers;
May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma/equivalent.
Proficiency in English;
Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
Experience:
One (1) year clerical experience.

Data entry and/or general office skills;
Good human relations, interpersonal, and communication skills;
Clear and articulate speaking voice;
Accuracy & Attention to Detail;
Good Microsoft Office & PC Skills, in particular Excel;
