Physical Education Specialist Teacher - Early Years and Primary YearsQualifications:Registered at the Regional Council of Physical Education.Experience:2 years of teaching experience for early years and/or elementary (desirable).Classroom management experience.Languages: Proficiency in English.Specific Technical Knowledge:Microsoft Office.IB Methodology.Soft Skills and Values:Digital Thinking.Caring Profile.Interpersonal Relationships.Conflict Management.Creativity.Autonomy.Proactivity.Responsibilities:Teach classes and guide student learning, promoting experiences based on the Red House pedagogical plan and the special needs of each student.Know the school's Pedagogical Proposal and learning expectations for the specific grade.Analyze students' evolution in the learning process, collecting evidence and defining actions to improve performance.Develop strategies to promote student engagement, based on observation and evidence collection.Promote special classes and strategies for students with learning difficulties.Prepare adaptations for students with special educational needs.Ensure safety by staying with students during activities and preventing accidents.Observe students' attitudes to identify conditions of illness and provide necessary actions.Report observed behaviors and performance to the coordinator.Follow general Red House guidelines (Language Policy, Teachers Handbook, Assessment Policy).Prepare and display weekly plans in the classroom.Review weekly plans periodically and re-plan as necessary.Forward copies of activities and materials for approval by the Coordination.Maintain accurate and complete student records (Class Journal).Advise students through evidence-based practices and handle conflict situations.Collect evidence of student learning during lessons.Evaluate students and present grades to the coordination according to deadlines.Guide the Teaching Assistant (TA) with clear expectations and report development needs to coordination.Communicate with parents/guardians about students' development as requested.Attend academic meetings and training workshops to improve professional competence.Manage student materials and class effectively.Communicate daily occurrences related to students to the coordination.Maintain and organize class objects and equipment.Provide regular feedback to students on their improvement.Share relevant information about students with other teachers.Perform additional tasks as determined by the immediate superior.
