What you'll do:
As a Product Development Engineer, you will actively participate on the product development projects focused on our Fabric Care products, interacting with multiple teams (inside and outside Brazil) and providing technical support to others in the team. If you have great analytical and collaborative skills, are always up to date with the latest technologies and trends, and need a place to exercise all of your creativity, this is your chance!

In detail, you will:
Develop components and parts using CATIA;
Regularly presents project status reports to Project Leaders and Team Members;
Developing technical solutions for cost out and quality improvement actions applied to Fabric Care products;
Supporting and preparing the technical product documentation and engineering product documentation necessary;
Investigating and proposing solutions for optimized materials and processes for given components and sub-systems;
Contributing to collaborative sessions within and outside your technical domain;
Attend the company targets for recyclability, modularization and sustainability subjects;
Ensure mandatory deliverables are met prior to requesting gate completion.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
Who you are:
You have:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
Experience with development of plastic and metallic parts for appliances;
Experience with 3D modeling software (CATIA 5.0, SolidWorks, PRO-E) and Teamcenter;
Knowledge of interior module development tools, stage-gate development processes, design reviews, DFMEA, DFA;
Knowledge of plastic injection, extrusion and thermoforming processes;
Knowledge of generation of engineering and aesthetic specifications and test procedures;
Knowledge of designing mechanical structures to prescribed specifications;
Availability to travel (national and international) when necessary;
Advanced Office skills;
Advanced English.

You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba. One of the focal points for all Latin American Electrolux operations, this plant is the base for over 3200 collaborators, all focused on transforming the way the world lives by shaping lives for the better with their work.
