Platform Engineer

Rate: $17-25hr USD / $4,333 USD monthlyMust Haves:5+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or quality assurance. (someone on the CDN side, understands networks, a sys admin or network admin that moved into a devops role. Or a f5 engineer background would work) Experience deploying to and managing cloud systems.Proficiency with DevOps tools and methodologies, and a proven track record of deploying and maintaining critical infrastructure.Experience with Cloudflare, Cloudfront, Akamai, or another cloud CDN and firewall vendor.Familiarity with implementing rulesets for Web Application Firewalls (WAF)Programming experience with Python OR C# OR Java, SAML, Kubernetes, microservice architecture, React, Angular. (the environment in C# and Java) Need to be able deploy infra as code in a cloud environment. Experience with multiple different types of cloud environments, not just one (Aws, azure, gcp ect). GIThub actions, Harness (big plus) Jenkins, azure pipelines- any tool really works Plusses:Terraform- this will go a long way! Day to Day:In your role as a Senior CDN Operations Engineer, you will work to enhance our efforts in providing a secure, globally distributed, low latency customer experience. This includes improving the observability of the system for reliable alerting, deploying changes using infrastructure as code, creating integration tests for the system, and collaborating with engineers to implement their CDN and firewall requirements
