Company Description Earth.Org is a global environmental non profit organisation dedicated to advocating for sustainable economic policies and governance on our home planet.
We are committed to raising awareness about environmental issues and promoting positive change through research, education, and activism.
Earth.Org will be launching a radio and podcast initiative - called Earth.Radio in October.
We are seeking volunteer Podcasters in Brazil to make environmental programming to feature on the station and on Podcast platforms.
The Earth.Radio mission is to highlight - What is happening to our Planet and What we can do about it.
It is direct, insightful, thought provoking, honest but hopeful.
Time requirement Flexible - minimum of 3 hours a month to research, record and edit - 1 hour of podcast a month .
Role Description This is a volunteer remote role for a Podcaster at Earth.Org and Earth.Radio.
As a Podcaster, you will be responsible for creating and hosting engaging podcast episodes that explore various environmental topics and issues.
You will conduct research, interview experts and individuals passionate about environmental sustainability, and craft compelling scripts for each episode.
The role will involve recording, editing, and publishing podcast episodes on various platforms.
Qualifications Excellent communication and writing skills Ability to conduct thorough research on environmental topics Experience in interviewing guests and facilitating engaging conversations Familiarity with social media platforms for promoting podcast episodes Proficiency in audio recording and editing software Passion for environmental sustainability and advocacy Ability to work independently and remotely Prior experience in podcasting or multimedia production is a plus Degree in journalism, communications, environmental studies, or related field is beneficial If you would like to get involved and use your voice to communicate compelling news, interviews and insights into Climate Change and What we can do about it, please APPLY .
