Position Overview:
The organization is seeking
Portfolio Executives (PEs)
to join the team as independent contractors.
These roles require individuals with a blend of sales and marketing experience, a technical background, and the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance performance.
Ideal candidates should hold a
degree in Biology, Microbiology, Surgical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology
, or a related field, or have
5+ years of relevant professional experience

The position focuses on identifying, engaging, and closing deals with intellectual property owners and buyers/licensees.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management:
Oversee and market diverse IP portfolios to potential buyers and licensees.
Sales Development:
Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging your expertise to drive sales and licensing opportunities.
Negotiation and Closing:
Lead negotiations, align deal terms, and secure agreements to meet revenue targets.
Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough research on market trends, potential buyers, and industry demands to optimize portfolio positioning.
Client Engagement:
Build strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their IP assets are represented effectively.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate records, provide detailed performance reports, and deliver insights to improve strategies and outcomes.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in
Biology, Microbiology, Surgical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology
or related field, OR 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication in English (C2 or fluent level).
Proven track record in sales, business development, or marketing, ideally within the technology, healthcare, or life sciences sectors.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with an ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
Familiarity with IP assets and technology transfer is highly advantageous.
Proficient in using CRM tools and other sales management software.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
Sales and Marketing Experience: Demonstrated success in a business development or sales role, preferably in technology, IP, or similar fields.
Background in molecular biology, genetics, or related fields will be given special consideration, particularly those with a familiarity with genetic research or genetic markers.
AI Savviness: Comfort with leveraging technology to improve performance.
Working Hours:
2-5 hours per week, with flexible working arrangements to suit your schedule.
This is a remote role as an independent contractor.
Commission only, with a very large income potential in $USD.
