About:   This organization is a full-service patent brokerage committed to helping intellectual property owners bring groundbreaking discoveries to market.
Through services like patent marketing, licensing, and sales, we enable the success of patent owners by managing and monetizing their intellectual property portfolios.
Position Overview:   The organization is seeking Portfolio Executives (PEs) to join the team as independent contractors.
These roles require individuals with a blend of sales and marketing experience, a technical background, and the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance performance.
The position focuses on identifying, engaging, and closing deals with intellectual property owners and buyers/licensees.
Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Executive (PE) - Deal Sourcing: Identify potential buyers or licensees through professional networks, databases, and other creative methods.
- Client Relations: Manage communication with IP owners and buyers to address concerns, understand deal terms, and ensure smooth transactions.
- Deal Negotiation: Facilitate meetings between IP owners and buyers, negotiate terms, and assist in the completion of required documentation to close deals.
- Reporting: Share feedback on processes, maintain detailed records, and report discreetly to both management and IP owners.
Requirements: - Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and communicate complex technical information in a simplified manner.
- Technical Training: Background in areas like engineering, manufacturing, programming, etc.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication in English (C2 or fluent level).
- Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and strategic decision-making ability.
- Customer-Oriented: Passionate about providing excellent customer service, with a friendly and energetic demeanor.
- Responsiveness & Reliability: Highly dependable, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent delivery on commitments.
- People Skills: Excellent at building relationships, listening to clients' needs, and addressing them professionally.
Preferred: - Sales and Marketing Experience: Demonstrated success in a business development or sales role, preferably in technology, IP, or similar fields.
- AI Savviness: Comfort with leveraging technology to improve performance.
Working Hours:    2-5 hours per week , with flexible working arrangements to suit your schedule.
This is a remote role as an independent contractor.
Commission only, with a very large income potential!
