Post-Doctoral Fellow, University of Rhode Island Graduate School of OceanographyThe Graduate School of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow to work on the NSF-funded collaborative project Dynamics and Transport of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current in Drake Passage (www.cDrake.org).
Required: Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography or closely related fieldDemonstrated ability and experience in scientific programming and advanced communication skillsPreferred: Experience with dynamical analysis and interpretation of observed ocean/atmospheric data and numerical modelsThe position is limited to 5/31/12 with anticipated extension.
