NoOffer DescriptionThe Mycology Laboratory of the University of São Paulo's Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCF-USP) in Brazil offers a post-doctoral position for participation in a Thematic Research Project supported by FAPESP, the São Paulo Research Foundation (grant number 2022/11944-9) entitled "Sporotrichosis and Chromoblastomycosis: Development of vaccines based on immunogenic peptides and determination of immunological markers of protection". The main objective of the post-doctoral project is to construct a recombinant phage containing the sequence of the immunogenic peptide ZR8 from S. brasiliensis (Spore-Phase) and evaluate the efficacy of this phage as a potential vaccine candidate for sporotrichosis.An independent, motivated individual with a history of high-impact scientific publications is sought. Those interested should have a doctoral degree and prove their scientific experience in the proposed subject and mastery of the methodologies used, such as cell culture, ELISA, Western Blotting, flow cytometry, T-cell response, and S. brasiliensis fungal culture.Interested parties should send CVs by email (******) from August 12 to 30.This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality.
