NoOffer DescriptionThe Laboratory of Plant Molecular Biology at the University of São Paulo's Ribeirão Preto Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters (FFCLRP-USP) in Brazil announces a post-doctoral position for research development in the project "The importance of the SCI1 gene in the floral meristem, its transcriptional regulation and evolutionary conservation." The project uses molecular biology techniques to investigate the influence of SCI1 and its interaction partners on plant development.Qualifications:Solid experience in molecular biology techniques (extraction and quantification of DNA and RNA, cloning techniques, PCR, gene expression analysis by RT-qPCR, etc.) is required;Experience in plant molecular biology, including transient and stable plant transformation techniques, is essential;Experience with extraction and purification of plant proteins is desirable;Previous experience with RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) will be an advantage;Proficiency in the English language (writing and verbal communication).The candidate must have completed a doctorate and have an excellent postgraduate academic record.Applications must be sent to Prof. Dr. Maria Helena S.
